9 Months

Spencer is 9 months old!!! He's talking (our favorite words are da-da and ma-ma of course), he gives high-fives, and he's starting to wave. It seems like he is doing something new everyday. He is a master at cruising around the furniture now, he loves chasing after our pets, and he is always laughing - he is such a happy baby! He goes for his 9 month check-up next week. We can't wait to see what he weighs now!

Friends and Family

Spence loves spending time with the ladies. Recently he's been playing with his cousin, Emily, and his girlfriend, Lily. As long as he has somebody to play with he's happy!

Spence and Emily hung out at City Park in Warwick. They shared some toys, went on the swings, and even had lunch together (sort of).

I'm wondering if Spence is holding his brush cause he knows his hair is a mess, or if he's trying to win over Emily by brushing her hair?? Either way, his hair is out of control in this pic :)

More Fun in the Sun!

Spence has been swimming a few times so far and he really seems to like it. He loves going in his pool floats but isn't too keen on swimming in the ocean just yet. We'll turn him into a swimmer by the end of the summer though!

Just a couple of pics from our trip to the zoo...

Spence didn't really seem to notice the giant elephant walking by...he was more interested in trying to grab the fence posts.

His favorite part of the day was looking at the fish. He absolutely LOVES them! Hmm, maybe we should get a fish tank for the house...

Summer Fun!

Now that the rain stopped for a few days, we were finally able to take Spencer for his first swim in a real pool. The water was still a little cold so he didn't last too long, but he did have fun swimming around in some of his pool floats with Dad. Hopefully the water will warm up soon so we can let him splash around some more!
