8 Months Old!

Spencer is 8 months old today and he is growing faster than ever! Since last month, he started crawling, he pulls himself up to a standing position, and even cruises around the furniture. He stands up in his crib now, too! Once he realized he could crawl, there was no stopping him. He is getting into everything!!! We can't believe how quickly he is learning new things. He still doesn't have any teeth...but that's okay, we love his gummy smile :)

By the end of our "photo shoot" the paper was a little wrinkled from Spencer trying to eat it :)

Gaspee Day's Parade

This month Spencer went to his first parade! We weren't sure how he would handle all the guns, cannons, marching bands, etc., but he was so excited about all of the action (even though the parade was during his usual nap time). Both babies did so well! Lily slept through all of the guns going off while Spence squealed with delight. Then, Spence fell asleep during the marching bands while Lily enjoyed the show. We will definitely be back next year!

One Year Ago...

As if I didn't already know that time is flying by, this really proves it for me. A lot can happen in one year (especially when you have a baby).

One little person can sure grow A LOT in just one short year! Amazing!
