12 Months

Well, here it is - the last monthly photo shoot. It really is amazing to see all the pictures lined up. Spence has changed so much during the past year. He's running around all over the place, learning new words, cutting tooth number 8, and so much more. My favorite new "trick" of his is when he makes pig noises (sounds weird, but it's the cutest thing). He weighs 20 lbs, 12 oz (25th percentile) and he's 32 inches tall (95th percentile). He's still tall and skinny, and of course, super cute!

Birthday!!!

Spencer is 1!!!! We can't even believe it! This year has flown by faster than any other! Here are a few pictures from his big day...

Pumpkins

This month we took our annual trip to Shartner's Farms to pick some pumpkins. Spencer was so excited to go on the hayride, pick out a few pumpkins, and enjoy the beautiful fall weather. He didn't want to leave!

11 Months!

Spencer is 11 months old now! He is getting into as much mischief as ever! He started walking earlier this month, he's saying more and more words (his first "real" word was bear), and he's up to 7 teeth now. We had to bribe him with Cheerios to take his pictures this time around...he'll do just about anything for food.

Just wanted to post a few more recent pictures of Spencer, so here they are...

Cruising around the furniture...one of his favorite activities.


This is where he walked for the first time about two weeks ago. He's been standing by himself and walking around the furniture for awhile now, then one day he just decided to walk right across the living room! He still crawls too, but now he can officially walk when he wants to! It's pretty cute!

10 Months!

Spencer is 10 months old today!!! It's getting harder and harder to take his monthly pictures, but we were able to get a few good ones. He loves to rip his sign, squirm all over the place, and stand up on the couch so it's a two person operation now. We call him Mr. Mischief for a reason - he gets into everything and he is always on the go! He has 4 teeth now and is about to cut tooth number 5.

Just Chillin

We made a quick stop at the beach the other day just to cool off. Spence loves hanging out at the beach and going swimming. I'm so glad he's a beach bum like his Mom!

Save the Bay

On August 15th Drew participated in the annual Save the Bay swim for the 3rd year in a row. He swam 1.7 miles along the Newport Bridge and raised about $300 to help keep Narragansett Bay clean. It was a lot of fun and we can't wait for next year's swim! Thanks to everyone who supported Drew this year!

Teeth

Spencer cut his first tooth on July 27th (FINALLY!!!). Not surprisingly, he did things a little differently and cut his top, left tooth first. Then, while we were on vacation (bad timing, I know), he cut his bottom right tooth. So, at the moment, he looks a little like a redneck with two diagonal teeth! I'm sure the others aren't too far behind...we can already see the white "dots" underneath his gums.

Oh yeah, on August 10th we celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary too! Aww :)

Beach!

During the first week of August the Knutton's and the Tesz's went to Salisbury, MA to spend some time at the beach. Spence and Lily had such a good time playing in the sand, jumping waves, and hanging out with one another...and they looked so cute while doing so!

9 Months

Spencer is 9 months old!!! He's talking (our favorite words are da-da and ma-ma of course), he gives high-fives, and he's starting to wave. It seems like he is doing something new everyday. He is a master at cruising around the furniture now, he loves chasing after our pets, and he is always laughing - he is such a happy baby! He goes for his 9 month check-up next week. We can't wait to see what he weighs now!
